Maha Helmy Appointed Cluster PR & Communications Manager at Gewan Hotels & Resorts Egypt  

 

CAIRO, EGYPT – Gewan Hotels & Resorts Egypt has announced the appointment of Maha Helmy as Cluster Public Relations and Communications Manager, bringing with her more than 20 years of expertise in Egypt’s travel, tourism, and hospitality industries.

 

Helmy, a graduate of Akhbar Elyom Academy with a degree in Journalism, has built a distinguished career across leading organizations including Travco Group, FAHR, African Queen Travel, and NSAS. She also served as General Manager and Project Director at digital experts, where she oversaw strategic communications for a high-profile portfolio, including the Travco Holidays account and partnerships with over 40 companies in the travel market.

 

In her new role, Helmy will lead the integrated communications and PR strategy for Gewan’s growing cluster of luxury properties. Her portfolio covers the Gewan Cairo Hotel and four flagship resorts in New Alamein: Gewan White Beach Resort, Gewan Resort, Gewan Palace, and the prestigious Gewan Luxury.

 

This appointment comes during a period of ambitious expansion, with Gewan Hotels & Resorts Egypt expected to grow its portfolio to more than 10 properties nationwide by the end of the year. Helmy will play a pivotal role in shaping the group’s corporate narrative and strengthening its public profile in Egypt’s competitive hospitality market.
